Congratulations to the Senior Lady Hornets for their win against Kipp Delta! They will take on Des Arc at 4 on 2/17 in Des Arc. Tuesday's track practice will be rescheduled for a later date - TBD!
Today, we are excited to celebrate National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day by recognizing someone who makes a difference in our schools each and every day — Mr. Teddy Walker!
"Mr. Teddy" - as we all fondly call him - is so much more than a School Resource Officer. He is a mentor, a protector, a role model, and a trusted friend to our students.

HES and HHS students received their progress reports today to take home.
HES parents, if you plan to attend tomorrow’s class Valentine’s parties, please remember to bring your entry ticket. You will be required to show your ticket at the door.
Tryout Week will be March 16–19, with an optional practice on Sunday, March 15. Tryouts will take place on Thursday, March 19.
Tryout packets will be available later this week in the elementary and high school offices.
ARCare will host a school sports clinic for 6th–11th grade Hornets who plan to participate in athletics during the 2026–2027 school year. Physicals will be provided at no cost, and transportation will be provided by the school. Forms are available in the high school and elementary offices.

Monday:
Grades 7–10 ELA
Tuesday:
Grades 7–8 Math, Algebra, and Geometry
Grades 7–8 Science and Biology
Parents may access their child’s testing data 24–72 hours after the assessment is submitted. A unique access code was sent home at the beginning of the year. If you need another copy, please email csims@hazen.k12.ar.us
